This a photo mommy took the other day. It says it all, doesn’t it? He’s cute, even if he is a pain. That’s the Mark of Bassie on his nose. RRRRRRROAAAAAAAAAARRRRR

Surfeit is going for radioactive iodine treatment today. I got mommy to write about feline hyperthyroidism and radioactive iodine treatment and I’ll be posting that soon.

  1. Oh Bassie, Jami is extra cute there. I like sinks too, but only to remind the humans that the sink is empty when it should be filled with water. Hmmmm, bid you let Jami know who is boss? That’s okay  — he needs to learn to respect his elders!

    • So you like dipping your feet in the sink? Or more than just your feet? Definitely, the little whipper-snapper needs to learn who’s top cat around here! *fluffs tail*

    • He is adorable and he thinks that means everyone will let him get away with anuthing. Well, think again, Jami! *fluffs tail.* Surfeit did well with the treatment and is doing fine in the hospital. Mommy misses him, though. He’ll be back home Monday.

    • It really is the best treatment for hyperthyroidism. He probably won’t have to take any meds afterwards, which is great. And thank you for the compliment about Jami. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.

    • Thank you for the compliment. It’s always good to start with a handsome subject! Mommy’s polishing up her post and will publish it in the next few days. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.

    • It is a nice sleeping and petting spot. I like it myself. As to the scratch on his nose, he needs to learn a little respect, the young so-and-so! How exciting about the award! I’ll go check it out right now. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.
